Children from Hampton Pre-Prep School are enjoying the great outdoors thanks to a new 'outdoor classroom' scheme.
Members of staff take pupils out once or twice a week to nearby woods, where they take part in games and lessons.
Teacher Julie Nugent heard about the scheme through courses at Evesham College and Bishop's Wood College.
She said: "The forest school is a scheme that originated in Scandinavia and has really taken off in Worcestershire.
"So many children are used to going straight from the car to the house, but through this scheme, children can enjoy the outdoors.
"The children learn about the environment and how to be careful in the outdoors. We play counting games, colour games and have built homes for hedgehogs. The scheme is great fun and it builds the children's confidence."
