EXPRESS 88 entertained Kays in this Sunday Division One clash at Victoria Park.

It was Kays who took a surprise lead early when a superb shot from 25 yards flew into the top corner.

EXPRESS 88 6, KAYS 3

With Express controlling the game, a Mark Taylor corner was met by Stu Summers, whose header came back off the bar into the path of Robbie Perrins, who headed home. From here it looked as though Express would now increase their lead but a defensive error resulted in Kays going 2-1 up.

Express again had to work for an equaliser and just before half time Jamie Roberts twisted and turned in the box to make it 2-2.

In the second half Express soon took the lead when Perrins finished well from close range. It was than 4-2 when Lee Hooper's fierce drive from distance flew past the visiting keeper. It was Hooper's saved shot that set up the fifth when Sean Clarke pounced on the rebound and drilled the ball home.

Kays scored their third goal when a rare attack saw a striker avoid numerous challenges to shoot low into net.

This didn't faze Express as another long range effort from Hooper hit the back of the net for 6-3.

On Sunday, Express are away to Blackpole. Players meet 9.30am prompt at Express Inn.
