THE Worcestershire Football Association is proposing to run a referees' course commencing Friday, January 9, at 7pm at its headquarters at De Salis Drive, Hampton Lovatt Industrial Estate, Droitwich.
The course is in two parts. The first three weeks are followed by an examination consisting of questions with multi-choice answers.
Those who are successful and wish to go on to referee will then be registered as Level 9 referees.
The second part of the course continues for a further five weeks. During this period candidates need to commence refereeing and should have refereed at least three games before the completion of the second part of the course.
The final week will involve a further examination, and providing the minimum of three games have been refereed, candidates will then be classified as a Level 7 or 8 referee.
To book a place on the course, or should you require any further details about refereeing, then please do not hesitate to contact the Worcestershire Football Association on 01905 827137 during office hours or Bill Allsopp 01299 826654 in the evening.
