A SANTA wearing sunglasses arrived by helicopter to wish everyone at Leigh Sinton Farm a 'cool Yule'.

His dramatic arrival last Saturday marked the start of festive events at the farm, which sells Christmas trees grown on site and has its own Christmas shop.

Crowds of children were there to see Santa arrive in style and to see him at his grotto.

Walter Beard, managing director of the business with his son Nick, said: "It went very well and all the youngsters enjoyed seeing Santa."

The County Air Ambulance provided the helicopter and is running a fundraising catering stand at the farm. Children can visit Santa at Leigh Sinton Farm on the two weekends leading up to Christmas. The farm is open 9am to 5pm Sunday to Wednesday and 9am to 6pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
