AN Old Street shop that has been empty since August has been taken over by an existing Upton business.
Frames, previously at the Old Bell House Tearooms, has moved into number 14, which was formerly Gabrielle's clothing.
Vi Hogan ran the Old Bell House Tearooms until October 2002, when she retired. Her husband Vince continued to run his picture framing business from the building until moving to the Old Street last week. Mr Hogan said that although he was still working on the shop, the business would be open as usual.
The Old Bell House Tearooms have been bought by Andrew Burney, who plans to reopen them as a going concern.
