A range of ideal Christmas gifts was on display at the Barry Jackson Room, Grange Road, from Friday to Sunday.
Cards, bags, jewellery, paintings and pottery were among goods on offer to visitors during the Art and Craft 2003 exhibition, which featured both traditional and modern works.
Local handbag maker Loll Cheetham, said: "It was great fun. We had a good response and sales were pretty good. I only started making the bags in September, when I bought an old Singer sewing machine for five pounds.
"This is the first time that my bags have been exhibited and I will have to consider where to go from here."
Other local exhibitors included Kate Standen, Sarah Morgans, Annika Amos, Anna Rarity and Margaret Richardson.
