MIDLAND Alliance Golden Boot winner James Wood will provide the final piece of Dave Titterton's jigsaw at Stourport Swifts.
The pacey Oldbury striker, an unstoppable force last season with 34 goals, is Titterton's man to partner Richard Ball in attack.
Wood's signing ends Swifts' pursuit of Richard Burgess who is set to stay at Dr Martens Western Division rivals Bromsgrove.
Titterton said of the ex-Solihull and Stratford 24-year-old: "It's a great capture for me and the club. He wants to play at this level and it's a good opportunity for him.
"James is very quick, direct and gets behind the defence. That's something we have lacked at certain times.
"He started as fifth-choice forward at Oldbury last season and is very raw. But at the end of the day he scores goals and we needed another striker alongside Ball who can do that.
"He's not a player you can build off, he needs the ball in front of him so he can run at people."
Titterton has also wrapped up the additions of Ilkeston keeper Lee Evans and Studley midfielder Mark Beddowes.
He added: "There is now competition for everybody's place. We're not just talking numbers but quality of players in depth."
Swifts are planning a public meeting as they look for volunteers to help the club progress.
They want people to get involved with their community project for an astroturf surface which has been granted planning permission.
Anyone interested can call chairman Chris Reynolds on 01299 250800.
