INJURIES are already worrying Stourport Swifts boss Dave Titterton ahead of the new Dr Martens Western Division campaign.
Titterton also fears he may have to concede defeat in his bid to sign pre-season star Anthony Robinson.
Swifts kick off the season at home to newly promoted Yate on Saturday before visiting Solihull on Monday (7.30pm).
Wing-back John Cotterill is a big doubt after pulling his hamstring in the last friendly on Monday, a 3-0 defeat to Worcester.
Striker Richard Ball hopes to shake off an ankle injury but summer signing James Wood is suspended for yellow cards collected last season.
But Titterton could include ex-Westfields left-back Jon Hill who made three Conference appearances for Hereford in 2001-02.
He has offered a deal to another keeper to compete with Lee Evans due to Rob Clarke's knee injury which could sideline him for much of the campaign.
However, Swifts are yet to agree a move for midfielder or striker Robinson who is a free agent.
Titterton, in his first full season in charge at Walshes Meadow, admitted: "I've been hoping to sign him up but couldn't.
"He's told me he doesn't want to play in the Midland Alliance. This is an opportunity to play in the Western Division but obviously something isn't right for him.
"The deal's currently dead but it may be resurrected. I'm waiting for a call from the player but I won't be calling him."
