DAVE Titterton will urge Stourport Swifts to take a good midweek display into the magic of the FA Cup.
Swifts' boss felt Halesowen Town were lucky not to be on the end of a Dr Martens Western Division drubbing on Tuesday.
Town won 2-0 but Titterton was not down-hearted ahead of Saturday's cup tie.
Swifts entertain Boldmere in the preliminary round without centre-back Dave Davies (broken nose).
Titterton said: "We had enough chances to beat Halesowen and missed a penalty.
"Halesowen should hold their hands up and admit they got out of jail.
"If we play like that for the season we will win a lot more games than we lose.
"I'm pleased with our start, even though we've only got four points. We are getting stronger with each game.
"Saturday's very special for me as it's my first game as manager in an FA Cup tie.
"Boldmere are a young team who play some good football. We're a league above but the cup's a good leveller."
Swifts' cup exploits will be under the television spotlight of BBC Midlands Today.
Meanwhile, the U-18s lost their first Midland Floodlit Youth League Southern Division game 3-0 at Worcester City.
