FORMER Kidderminster College students are joining the billing for a metal extravaganza being put together by another ex-student from the town.
Extreme metal band Bull Vs Bear will appear alongside some of the West Midlands heavier acts, notably Drink With The Dead, Crib and Godsize in a Nightmare Before Christmas at The Rock Caf, Stourbridge, on Wednesday.
The line-up has been arranged by former music industry management student Bek Cross who runs promotions and management company Bleeding Ears and manages Godsize.
Bek, of Batham Road, Kidderminster, completed her course at the town's college in 1999 and has since graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in media and cultural studies from University College, Worcester.
As manager of Stourbridge-based Godsize, this year alone has seen sell-out support slots with Anthrax and One Minute Silence, a European/Irish tour and a UK headline tour.
She said: "Bull Vs Bear sound is brutal. In their short time together, I was impressed by their musical presence. I'm selective about bands I choose - it has to reflect an amazing show. I have no doubt they will rise to the occasion."
The doors open at 6.30pm for the Nightmare Before Christmas show.
