TWO Kidderminster vicars have been made honorary canons by the Church of England.
They are Rev Nick Barker, Rector of St George's Church, Kidderminster Team Ministry and Rural Dean of Kidderminster, and Rev Harold Goddard, Rector in the Kidderminster West Team Ministry and formerly Rural Dean of Evesham.
They were among seven new canons installed at a ceremony at Worcester Cathedral by the Bishop of Worcester, the Rt Rev Dr Peter Selby.
Honorary canons are distinct from canons on the cathedral staff and provide a link between the diocese and the cathedral.
