Bournville 5, Evesham U-17 83pts
EVESHAM produced their best performance of the season to blow away Bournville.
It only took a minute for Evesham to start the rout when turnover scrum saw blindside wing Sam Linley run 70 metres for the first of his five tries. John Chalmers added the conversion.
Soon after Linley scored again after smart work from Will Lloyd but a mistake from the restart let Bournville in to score their only try of the game.
Evesham upped the pace again and scored through Sam Huckvale, Charles Homer, Craig Brotherton, Sam Linley and Chalmers, who also added three conversions.
Evesham started the second half as they ended the first with constant scoring.
A powerful run by Richard Cleland led to another Linley try and after a smart backs move led to a Sam King score and Chalmers conversion.
Evesham were rampant. Scott Butcher, Callum Dyer, Nick Curnock, Mark O'Connor, Dan Lee and Ash Perkins led the pack forward that resulted in a Richard Tallis break and a smart pop gave Huckvale his second try that was converted by Matt Cook.
Good work from Albert Homer led to Linley grabbing a fifth try before Chalmers extended his tally of conversions.
There's a cup match against Bredon on Sunday, meet club at 10.15am.
