THE speed humps on the Queensway estate are still "too acute", a leading councillor has said.
Liz Davies - who represents Wribbenhall on Worcestershire County Council - said: "I have personally been round there a couple of times and I think the platforms are too acute."
Speaking at the last meeting of Bewdley Town Council, Mrs Davies added: "There is an issue for people around the Queensway about the traffic calming as it has been put in."
But fellow town councillor Tony Williams said although the angle of the humps had at first been "totally incorrect" the finished result was now acceptable.
The Queensway resident said: "As far as I am concerned it is a success. People there can cross the road without danger of being mowed down. We have stopped seeing the boy racers come through and although we did have problems initially, I can say it is now successful."
