Moretonville Hawks 3, Evesham Utd U-13 2
UNITED lost to their old rivals from Buckingham on Sunday in a match that could have gone either way.
In the first half Moretonville outbattled the Robins to take a 2-0 lead.
David Huggins gave the visitors hope with a goal just before the break.
United lost goalkeeper Ben Parry with an head injury that saw Huggins withdrawn from the attack to take over in goal.
United then conceded again but, with 15 minutes remaining and the visitors in the ascendancy, Tom Adam Miles scored with a glancing header to make for a tense climax.
Despite creating several chances and Joe Ford really testing the Hawks keeper, United couldn't quite snatch an equaliser.
