Newtown Spts Boys 0,
Evesham Utd U-10 14
A FINE all-round team effort saw Evesham ease into the semi-finals of the Mercian Cup.
While Newtown started brightly, it was the visitors who were to dominate. Henry Woods opened the scoring, latching on to Sam Ford's through ball, before the provider made it 2-0.
James Bearcroft was first to the ball after his penalty hit a post to make it three.
Keeper Leon Ballard was forced to make a save in a rare Newtown raid, but Ford and Louis Brown added two more.
The second half saw more of the same as Dan Francis finished off a Bearcroft pass and Brown netted an individual goal.
Brown and Woods both completed their hat-tricks, while Francis scored from distance before Ford took his tally to four.
