BEWDLEY Chamber of Trade would like to thank all of the groups and people who came together and made the switching-on of the town's Christmas lights such a success.
The acorn has been planted. It will now grow year by year until we have many similar events throughout the seasons.
A very big thank-you to our mayor, Councillor Jeremy Ferguson, town councillor Max Keen, town clerk David Flack and Ann Lyman who have worked with me on the Christmas lights committee all year.
We are all staying on the committee for 2004 so get ready Bewdley- it will only get better.
