POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 64-year-old man was hit over the head with a baseball bat and robbed as he walked through a subway in Kidderminster.
The man was passing through the subway near the bus depot in Worcester Road.
He was approached from behind by a man who hit him repeatedly over the head with the bat. There was a struggle and the victim eventually gave his attacker £20.

The incident took place just after 4pm on Sunday, November 30 when police believe there would have been people in the vicinity - especially those living in Cobham Road or Worcester Road - who saw the assault or someone carrying a baseball bat.
The attacker was described as white, 5ft 3ins, slim to medium build with dark hair and a thin moustache.
