YOU know Christmas is getting very close when you see Stourport Rotary Club's Santa touring the streets on a sleigh collecting money for good causes.
This Saturday sees Santa and his team of helpers begin its week of merry-making.
It will be a busy day with the sleigh stationed outside the Swan Hotel in High Street from 11am until 4pm. Then it glides to the Heightington Place and Church Walk area for 5.30pm until 8pm.
On Sunday it will be in the Power Station and Riverside areas between 5.30 and 9pm.
The sleigh will also be visiting the following areas between 5.30pm and 9pm:
Monday - Lower Lickhill, Vernon Road and Dorset Road; Tuesday - Wilden Top, Wilden Lane and The Grove; Wednesday - the Walshes and Abberley Avenue; Thursday - Burlish and Lickhill areas; Friday - Newtown and Minster Road areas.
On the Saturday the sleigh will be outside Stourport Co-op in Lombard Street from 11am until 4pm.
All the money raised will go to charities.
