JULIAN Clary will be heading up an all-star cast as Dandini at the Birmingham Hippodrome's Christmas pantomime Cinderella.

Starring alongside the camp comedian will be children's TV presenter Dave Benson Phillips as Buttons, Brookside's Lynsey McCaffrey as Cinderella, Hollyoaks star Henry Luxemburg as The Prince, BBC WM presenter Malcolm Boyden as The Broker's Man and West End star Rosemary Ashe as The Fairy Godmother.

Tony Jackson and David Hill will be filling the shoes of the Ugly Sisters, Philip Herbert the boots of Baron Hardup and Ian Gledhill the stockings of the Lord Chamberlain to complete the cast.

Billed as Britain's biggest and best, the Hippodrome's pantomime opens on Saturday, December 20 and runs until the beginning of February.
