A BOY BAND serenaded a teenager at the end of a mock exam during a surprise visit to her school.
Jenna Hayton was interrupted at the conclusion of a trial GCSE French exam by a member of top 10 successes, Phixx.
The 15-year-old Pershore High School pupil was treated to a medley of carols from the band and given a collection of their CDs and posters.
Jenna, from Wick, near Pershore, received the visit after winning a poetry competition organised by television show Top of the Pops Saturday.
"They were very pleasant boys and it was a nice experience for Jenna," said school headteacher Clive Corbett. "She was extremely shocked by it initially but enjoyed it hugely."
The band's trip to the school will feature in a special Christmas edition of the TV show on Saturday, December 27.
