Bretforton II 1, Leominster 4
DESPITE matching their opponents in the first half when they created several decent chances, Bretforton lost out on home territory at Evesham High School.
Liz Murray-White was denied by the visiting goalkeeper following a short corner and it wasn't until just before the break that Leominster finally unlocked the home defence with a text book strike after a series of short corners.
With the interval beckoning, a similar set-piece reached captain and player of the match Marion Icke whose shot flew over the defence and into the back of the net.
An uplifted home side were keen to get back among the action but it was the visitors who grabbed a crucial second goal as a shot squeezed past Fiona Baldelli.
Five minutes later and it was 3-1 as Leominster converted another chance and they proved the better side on ten day by grabbing a fourth goal before the finish.
The match was sponsored by Judes Jungle Jellyfish.
There's friendly action for the ladies on Saturday against Stourport before the festive holiday.
