Hal Miller, Conservative MP for Redditch, asked the Home Secretary a question in the Commons last week to find out what steps were being taken to widen and improve the reception of BBC Radio Birmingham.
The question was asked at the request of the local radio council who were concerned that despite Radio Birmingham having been established for eight years, the reception was still poor for about half the population who are supposed to be covered.
