A COMMUNITY-spirited Spa resident has been given the deserved title of the Advertiser Citizen of the Month.
Sue Poyer of Oakland Avenue has devoted time and effort to the Droitwich community for the past 25 years.
Sue, 55, works for Droitwich Spa & Rural Council for Voluntary Service based at the Old Library in Ombersley Street East and organises many groups including the Carer's Support and Heart Support groups.
Not only is she the secretary of the Westlands Forum, but Sue also does charity work for the Droitwich based Self Advocacy group, Say it Yourself and is the secretary for Churches Together.
She said: "It is a fantastic place to live and work, with a great deal of community spirit. I was quite honoured to be nominated and I must say it was a lovely surprise."
She was presented with a large bouquet of flowers courtesy of The Fresh Flower Company last Friday morning.
