PENNIES are still rolling in for charity thanks to a feast of festive fun at a town store this weekend.
Cedric the dragon made his appearance at the Peacocks store in Salters shopping centre in aid of The National Children's Homes charity on Friday, December 5.
The staff also dressed up in fancy dress and managed to extend the festivities, face painting, raffles and street collections over the whole weekend.
Branch manager, Andrea Leslie said: "The children thoroughly enjoyed Cedric the dragon and many had their pictures taken with him. We have so far raised £450 for the charity but there are still some more donations to come in."
