A DROITWICH councillor has returned home to love and support after suffering a heart attack.
Cllr Janet Clarke (Lib-Dem-South West) is on the road to recovery, relaxing with her husband and son after being rushed to Worcester Royal Hospital at the end of last month.
The attack came as a real shock to Mrs Clarke, aged 54 who had not previously suffered from high blood pressure.
She said: "I can't thank the Royal Worcester Hospital enough, the staff were marvellous. The ambulance arrived in around 10 minutes and there was no hanging around in corridors, I was in straight away."
The town councillor was inundated with support from Town Council colleagues and her husband, Harry and has thanked everyone for their kind-hearted help.
"I am hoping to be back in Town Council in the New Year," she added.
