BADGER Nurseries in Mappleborough Green celebrated the recent success of a member of staff in gaining a Horticultural Traders' Association (HTA) award.
Ann Newman was the proud recipient of a certificate marking her Retail Plant Care Award, which she gained after completing a training scheme.
She said: "The award has given me the ability to talk to customers with the confidence that I can really help them choose the right plants to suit their individual preference and gardens.
"I look forward to helping more people in the future with their planting wants and needs."
Director of Business Development at HTA, Alison Lee, said: "The Retail Plant Care Award is a national standard set by industry, recognised throughout the UK and is the only visible means of showing the gardening public evidence of staff plant skills."
