A DELEGATION of Pakistan's top textile manufacturers and the country's Consulate General visited a Redditch engineering firm recently.
The group made the trip to see CompAir's Redditch plant to build on a growing relationship between the firm and industry in Pakistan.
CompAir's compressors are an integral part of the textile production process as its products are used widely to power machinery. The visit was organised with the help of CompAir's Pakistani distributor Rastgar & Co.
CompAir's international sales manager Jim Oakman said: "Our compressed air packages are sold throughout Pakistan and it constitutes a very significant part of our budget predictions for next year.
"It is a testament to the work carried out by CompAir and Rastgar that such a large Pakistani contingent took the time to visit the factory.
"It was a great opportunity to show our customers the investment and quality of European manufacturing, something which gives them an idea of the size of our investment in the services and products we offer."
He added: "We have been able to gain valuable information from our Pakistani counterparts and look forward to welcoming them back to Redditch in the near future."
