A BROMSGROVE stage will be paved with gold later this month with an original production of Dick Whittington.
Festive folk have just one opportunity to catch the thigh-slapping musical, which has been penned and directed by multi-talented townsman Wayne Perry.
Wayne stars as the title character alongside Sara Randaii as Alice Fitzwarren and Dean Winters, who plays Sarah the Cook. George Perry, father of Wayne and former Bromsgrove Rovers' chairman, is the show's stage manager.
It will be staged at the Spadesbourne Suite, in Burcot Lane, on Friday at 6pm.
Tickets are £5 for adults and £3 for children, available from the suite's box office on 01527 831809. A family ticket, which admits two adults and two youngsters, is also on sale priced £14.
