DEAR EDITOR -- The Government is currently bringing in legislation regarding credit laws in relation to borrowing, to clearly outline the small print which lenders often do not wish the customers to know.
I would be grateful if your paper would again draw public attention to the existence of Bromsgrove and District Credit Union and how local people can join and then borrow at a much-reduced rate than the banks.
The Credit Union was founded by the Labour administration under Trevor Porter, when Labour was in control of the Council from 1995 to 1999.
