CHRIS Hartshorne's late penalty salvaged a point for Droitwich Spa A in their 4-4 home draw with Langland Sports last Saturday.
Spa started well with Jake Elvins finishing off an excellent move to put the hosts ahead, but slack marking allowed Langland to equalise. Chris Everett made it 2-1 before half time from a free-kick.
In the second half a goal from the impressive Mark Harber put Spa 3-1 ahead but Langland were awarded a penalty to reduce the arrears. The visitors continued to push forward and two quick goals gave them the lead.
With five minutes remaining a handball in the area presented Spa with a penalty, which Hartshorne converted.
