MAUREEN Burrows raced superbly to win a silver medal at the World Age Group Triathlon Championships in Queenstown, New Zealand.
The event was held over the Olympic distance of 1500m open water swim, 40km bike and finally a 10km run.
In the 60-64 year category Burrows from Worcester Triathlon Club injured her calf during the race but it didn't stop her.
