AN adaptation of Raymond Chandler's detective stories is brought to life at the Midland Arts Centre, Birmingham, on Friday and Saturday.
The Lady in the Lake, written by Paul-James Merrell, is presented by Midlands-based theatre company MDCC, best known for their outdoor performances of Shakespeare's works.
The play concerns Chandler's famous detective Philip Marlowe's investigation of a murder.
The play takes place in The Hexagon Theatre at the Mac, starting at 8pm and tickets, £7 (£5 concessions) are available from 0121 4403838.
