Razzle-Dazzle musical Chicago arrives at Birmingham's Alexandra Theatre on Tuesday.
It stars former Wet Wet Wet frontman Marti Pellow as Billy Flynn, following his critically acclaimed triumph playing the part in the West End show.
The musical is choreographed by Ann Reinking and won the 1998 Laurence Olivier Award for Outstanding Musical Production.
A spokesman described it as: "A kiss-and-tell story of Roxie Hart, a nightclub singer who kills her lover, Velma Kelly, the glamorous double-murderess vying for press supremacy, and Billy Flynn, the lawyer who has the power to keep them both from Death Row and turn them into stars." The role of Roxie is played by Jane Fowler and Amra Faye stars as Velma.
Marti has just released his new album Between the Covers. He will be touring the UK next year, including a concert at the NEC Arena.
Chicago runs until January 3. Tickets, priced £16-£32.50, are available from 0870 607 7533.
