TICKETS are selling like hot cakes for a musical extravaganza in Bromsgrove this weekend.
The Bromsgrove Choral Society will be performing Vivaldi's Gloria and John Rutter's Magnificat at South Bromsgrove High School, in Charford Road, this Saturday.
Apart from the Four Seasons, Gloria is Vivaldi's best known work. It is a sunny piece of music with universal appeal while Rutter's Magnificat is similarly uplifting.
The concert will be accompanied by the Midlands Camerata and conducted by Carelton Etherington.
Soloists on the night will be Katie Horsely and Alexander Pridgeon.
Tickets for the concert are priced £8.50 and £8 and they are available on the door or by calling 01905 771836. There are also concessionary tickets available to students and pensioners.
