ASPIRING Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaires in Droitwich are being urged to take a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn to dance at the hands of a professional.

Three times Come Dancing champion Dawn Westwood is to hold a 10-week salsa class in the town, starting in January.

Dawn, who lives in Showell Close, Droitwich, has won countless international titles in Latin dance.

Now retired, she is to use her vast knowledge to teach others.

"I have danced since I first started to walk, I absolutely love it," she said.

"Now I am retired the only way I can continue to dance is by teaching others. And as I am passionate about Latin American dancing, I thought a salsa class would be a good idea.

"I think I am starting the course at the right time - salsa is very popular at the moment."

"I am looking forward to seeing people progress and who knows, I may discover a future star."

The course starts on Wednesday, January 7, at Whitton Middle School. For more details, call Dawn on 01905 795875.
