A lorry park could be re-established in Redditch following a plea from local trade unions.
Officials from Redditch District Council and development corporation are to hold talks on the need for a lorry park in the town - complete with transport caf.
The move follows a call from Transport and General Workers Union district secretary Mr Stuart Chesshire who has told the town's public services committee that the present position is 'inadequate'. The previous lorry park was in Red Lion Street, but this vanished among extensive redevelopment.
