SEVERAL Redditch childcare groups have scooped a share of a county-wide cash windfall, allowing them to increase the number of places they can offer to youngsters.
Worcestershire County Council's Early Years and Childcare Partnership has secured £300,000 to provide after-school care places for children.
Sneakers Childcare Clubs in Moons Moat and Ravensbank have secured an additional 16 places between them, Springfields Day Nursery has an additional 36 places and the YMCA has received an extra 67 new after-school care places.
