A GROUP of youngsters have been celebrating after being awarded distinctions in their first recorder exams.
The former Marlfield Farm First School pupils took the Trinity Board Initial Recorder Examination earlier this year.
They also attend Redditch Area Music Centre at Trinity High School on Saturday mornings.
Marlfield Farm First School headteacher Mike Hallsworth said: "I am delighted the children's enthusiasm, enjoyment and commitment to playing the recorder over a couple of years was reflected in this achievement."
