IT was with interest that I read the future of Cookhill Village Hall is safe now the target has been reached and building work will begin next year to bring it up to public standard legislation.
Although my husband and I left Cookhill five years ago, we always supported money-raising efforts (and still do).
Congratulations to chairman Mrs Eileen Payne and her committee for all the hard work and time they have unstintedly given.
