NORTH Bromsgrove High School's U16s netball team has been crowned county champions.
The side came out on top against eight other teams at Redditch's Kingsley College last Saturday.
After winning through their group, the team saw off Malvern College in the semi-finals before thrashing Bishop Perowne 11-1 in the final.
The School Drive squad, who won the district event in September to qualify for this tournament, will now represent Worcestershire at the regional finals in Solihull in January.
PE Teacher Tracey Lynch said it was remarkable for such a result between the two best teams in the county, adding: "They played outstandingly in the final to win 11-1."
