MY GOD boys it's the 'dirrty' Christina Aguilera mark two. Stacie Orrico even sounds like pop's genie in a bottle.

And at just 17 Ms Orrico, complete with Madonna-esq beauty spot, has the world at her feet and with this, her second album, she's sure to go even further than the likes of rivals Britney and Christina.

Stacie wasn't even a teenager when she was discovered by an A&R executive who was judging a talent contest which she had entered for a laugh. He snapped her up and it took two years for her first work Genuine to hit the shops.

This eponymous album itself is good - far exceeding expectations of what a teenager can produce.

There's a variety of music from funky electro-pop to cheesy ballads - a range most of her peers should take note of.

Her vocals are very similar to those of Aguilera but maybe a little more mainstream and certainly a lot less theatrical.

The only problem is that most of the songs are instantly forgettable. Take Stuck - her first single off the album - and apparently already a hit.

But give her three years and I'm positive anyone who is anyone will know who Stacie Orrico is and remember her songs.

In fact it was three years ago, at the age of just 14, when Stacie produced her first album which went gold within weeks of release.
