CONGRATULATIONS must go to Phil Weston, and his excellent staff at the hugely-successful Perdiswell Young People's Leisure Club, in supporting yet another important step for Worcester's young people and the provision of a skateboard park.
When decisions have to be made between a bottle-bank and sporting facilities for our young people, young people must come first.
And so the decision taken by the majority of Worcester City Council's planning committee, despite the political opposition, is also to be commended.
