WORCESTER Wolves Basketball Club have pulled off another key signing with the capture of Keith Jarrett.

The 21-year-old, 6ft 6in forward, formerly with Birmingham Bullets, has agreed to play for Wolves for the rest of this season while taking a year off from playing college basketball in the United States.

He is not eligible to play in today's home league clash against Northampton but should make his debut next Saturday in Wolves' Patrons Cup group match with Liverpool at University College Worcester.

Wolves believe Jarrett, who is a very strong rebounder, will provide a major boost to their promotion hopes in the National League Division Two -- they have won two out of two going into today's match.

Managing director Roger Clarke said: "We are really excited about Keith's arrival. This will be the final signing for this season.

"At the end of last year we decided we had to strengthen the squad.

"We have now added several key signings and there is a clear intention now to push for honours."

Jarrett, who had extensive first-team experience with the Bullets, has been studying at Cloud County Community College in Kansas.

He is due to train with Wolves for the first time next week.
