MALVERN Ladies travelled to Bredon for a Kidderminster League match on Sunday.

BREDON LADIES 0, MALVERN LADIES 5

Straight from the kick-off, Malvern put the home defence under pressure and only two fine saves from the Bredon keeper prevented Malvern from scoring.

After ten minutes Malvern opened the scoring after a through ball from Flick Slater was fired home by Emily Prosser. In the 18th minute a goal kick by the Bredon keeper was headed back by Emily Prosser and pounced on by Nat Holmes who calmly rounded the keeper for a simple tap in.

Two minutes later it was a carbon copy of the second goal with Nat Holmes getting her second and Malvern's third of the game. One minute before half time a through ball from Polly Bounds to Emily Prosser who scored Malvern's fourth.

Six minutes into the second half a 20 yard shot from Polly Bounds was parried by the keeper and Nat Holmes was on hand to score her third goal.

Only good goalkeeping and the woodwork prevented Malvern adding any more goals. Malvern's defence and Tracey Evans, playing just in front of the back four, all played very well in stopping any clear cut scoring opportunities.

On Sunday, Malvern Ladies, who are sponsored by First Floor Flooring, are away at Worcester City.
