THE next Young Colwall Players workshop is on Saturday, October 18, at 10am, in the Jean Simon Room at the village hall.
Reg Casement has organised the next village bike ride, on Sunday, October 19. Starting at 11.15am at the village hall with a pick-up at 11.30am at St James' Church, this is a family easy ride with a pub stop and home by 3.30pm. More information from 01684 540366.
A packed village hall enjoyed a harvest supper last Friday evening. This was followed by a ceilidh with live music with Roger Wilkins, Maggie Percy and caller Marion Percy. On Sunday, the harvest festival service was held with the emphasis on Fair Trade. Donations of gifts were auctioned following the service.
