Recycling (again). Reading the letter in last week's Journal (October 9) from Sharon Casswell, client services manager at Wychavon District Council, this tells me nothing new and reiterates what I said in my letter, bottles have to be taken to a bottle bank.
The question was, how does someone old and infirm, possibly on public transport. Get them to the bottle bank?
This afternoon a neighbour of mine, in her 80's, put this question directly to Wychavon District Council by telephone. The answer: wrap them up in paper and put them in the rubbish bin.
I thought the In Thing was conservation.
In a word rubbish!
