KIDDERMINSTER Harriers Ladies threw away a 2-1 half-time lead at Rushall and were eventually beaten 4-3.
Sam Rogers and Louise Holmes fired just wide in the early stages of Sunday's West Midlands League Premier Division clash.
But Harriers made the break-through in the 34th minute when Julie Freeman beat the advancing keeper from 18 yards.
Two minutes later, Freeman added a second from close range after the Rushall keeper failed to hold a Vicky Roberts effort.
B Knight drove in a long-range effort off the underside of the bar to give Rushall a lifeline before the interval.
The home's second-half pressure was rewarded with S Ponsford's fine individual leveller and only a brilliant diving save by Rachel Baldwin denied them another.
But M Pountney scrambled home a third in the 68th minute and then G Wright coolly beat the offside trap to put them further ahead.
Roberts pulled a goal back for Harriers in the 86th minute with a curling left-foot shot from 20 yards.
Injury-hit Harriers ladies, based at Wilden Village Cricket Club, are still bidding for a top-five finish.
They are looking for new players who can join them for training on Wednesdays at 8pm.
Manager Michael Kirby-Davies has secured a new away kit sponsor, Garden Leisure Furniture, of Hartlebury.
