A BIG band jazz orchestra is launching a "trial run" concert in Kidderminster tomorrow.
The Worcestershire Jazz Orchestra will bring the music of Duke Ellington and Glenn Miller to the Briars Hotel - and if the evening proves a success it will be the first appearance of many.
Spokesman Dennis Clarke said: "This is a trial run.
"We want to get as many people to come along as possible to get a good start and secure further bookings there."
The 18-piece band - which used Worcester Rugby Club as its previous base - will again be directed by Ian Hattersley who has returned from a general music scholarship course in the US and a brass band tour of Germany.
Tomorrow's concert at the Habberley Road venue will be starting at 8pm.
