BILL Wiggin MP (You Say, Wednesday, October 8) claims to be the Shadow Minister for the Environment.
However, instead of describing Conservative policies for protecting our environment, or even attacking the poor record of the government on environmental issues, he uses six column inches for an ill-informed diatribe against the Liberal Democrats.
It is no wonder that more voters now view the Liberal Democrats rather than the Tories as the real opposition to this out-of-touch Labour government (Independent/NOP poll, Monday, October 6).
