Ex-National Servicemen and women are invited to join the association, which holds friendly, informal meetings on the first Wednesday of every month at Birmingham United Services Club, Gough Street, Birmingham.
Members enjoy reliving those bygone days with their former comrades. The National Service Memorial was dedicated by a special service on National Service Day, June 29, at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire.
This was a historic occasion, paying tribute to all UK National Servicemen and women, and those who made the supreme sacrifice in the service of their country between 1939 and 1960.
The association would welcome new members.
